Welcome to Footyguide (footyguide.socialengine.com)
We are working on a website for football/soccer fans, where we are mapping out interesting things and places to visit when traveling for a match. or a pub that shows the match and so on.

We have successfully integrated a map that updates twice per day with the addresses form the posts, so it will be easy to navigate from your location to the place you want.

We are also looking into "check in", where you then can check in to the post on when you are located at that address, it will then show the number of "checked in" users.

Try the site out now, We will launch within 1 month.

Feedbacks are very welcome :D

    Arnfinn Ingebrigtsen The dropdown is the following css:

    ul.dropdown-menu { -webkit-column-count: 2; /* Chrome, Safari, Opera */
    -moz-column-count: 2; /* Firefox */
    column-count: 2;
    margin-top:10px;}

    As for the map, it is an more complex thing. I have the a system i created extract information from the rss, then put it into a excel/spreadsheet on google docs, then it is uploaded to google maps with the correct information and updates twice a day. Looking into making it more complex and automatic, so it will update every hour.
