SE Cloud: How to add site details and "post something" button to Board Theme
Wondering how this could be possible. It's on the theme that this SE site uses, fixed on the right side. Can it be added to the Board Theme? And if so, how?

seTweaks The text in the widget can be edited from here : http://community.socialengine.com/admin/site

seTweaks You can add the widget code to the board. First you need to make a 2 columns layout. one for the board feed and one for the widget. To make it more appealing you can position the widget to be fixed so it moves when users scroll down or up.

Widget code can be found in the SEC docs.

Hoqule This might seem stupid of me to ask...but since I am a beginner, I was wondering how to make a board theme into a 2 column layout?

I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!

seTweaks You should have HTML/CSS knowledge to make changes in the templates.

Hoqule [73,seTweaks] Yes you are right, but any chance there is a code/script that I copy and add for that feature?

seTweaks it's not a snippet to add it and change it instantly. your template layout should change.

BumpShaman To add to my thoughts on this... I'm figuring the most difficult part would be how it would act on the "fluid" and "continuous" flow of the board page, where posts fill the page and go on forever.

Hoqule [16229,BumpShaman] Thats very true! Maybe a "scroll to the top" function could help for that?
