      Sieg Hi,

The CDN feature is to boost you website loading speed allowing user to load files from your website and also from the CDN provider. Just think that each file on your website is a "request" that your users browser need to do to your server. In a normal situation your server will handle each of these files alone sometime interpreting the code (what happens with PHP, HTML) or sending the files to the browser (what happens with images, music, videos and other type of files). When you use CDN you share the task to server files with a network of server provided by the CDN provider, so instead of your users load everything from your server they load some information from your server and also with CDN server. This is like to be served with information from several server at same time instead of one alone.

Social Engine has two different features one for MaxCDN and one for Amazon S3 with different objectives. In the case of MaxCDN it works for dinamic files like JS and CSS and some static files like icons provided by plugins. Amazon S3 works hosting mainly files uploaded by your users and also serving them through their CDN Network. You can use both together to server almost all information non related with code using CDN, however I couldnt make it work perfectly, since some files still to be loaded directly from my server.

Actually I am using Amazon S3 to host and handle static files and it increased my website speed a little. As I use videos in my homepage is much more faster to use a CDN than server it directly from my website.

In question of price both have different billing system. Amazon S3 is usually cheaper but will depend from your website size and number of request by day.

    CDN AWS S3 vs. MaxCDN?
Which of the two options is better and why? Also, which one of these two is cheaper?

I don't quite understand this feature yet.

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Support Tickets Response Time
How long does it generally take for someone to respond to new support tickets? I opened one 3 days ago and one 2 days ago and I still haven't heard back from anyone.

    Any ideas?

seTweaks Make sure you have enabled "Support Notify" from your account so you'll get notified by email when support answers to your tickets: https://www.socialengine.com/client/edit . Also, SE Cloud support is available on weekdays only so if you open a support ticket on Saturday or late Friday, support answers on Monday. This is for SE Cloud only. SE PHP support is available on weekdays and weekends.

Eugene [131308,Stepan Mazurov], is there something wrong? Previously SE team required 3rd party developers to reply support requests within 24 hours. Our team still follows this rule.

Rick Von Ruden I don't even know if they have anyone on staff right now that knows the se cloud code since they haven't done any updates on the cloud product since July.

    Full Site Features
We wish to see all the features that the SE Cloud offer & that is:
Videos, Music, Blog, Groups, Events, Polls, Chat, etc...

Is there a way to add any of these to the cloud site?

I'm still in my trial period and really would like to know what my options are on these features?

Rick Von Ruden There are no plugins for se cloud. You can post you tube and vimeo videos. You can post music from soundcloud and of course music videos from the 2 video sites supported. That's it.
